Yoga Retreats and Events

In so many ways I am at my happiest outdoors in nature and love to walk in the wilds and camp close to the earth. I have brought my two daughters up to love camping and they are both learned in bush craft and cooking on fires. My eldest daughter is studying wildlife conservation at university and my younger one has trained to Level 1 in Forest Schools with Lily Horsman. I love bringing yoga out of buildings and into nature: I have taught Dru Yoga and Yoga Nidra on the annual Buddhafield North Family Retreat to both teenagers and adults for many years now and will be teaching there again in Summer 2019.

I have also taught Yoga on the programme of the Beulah Yoga and Movement Festivals held in the beautiful North Yorkshire countryside. This Summer I'm teaching at the Out To Play Festival 5-7 July 2019.

I love to work with other teachers sometimes and have co-led day retreats with Cathy Theaker, Wellbeing and Mindfulness Practitioner (see her website) with  Emma Leaf of Infinite Energy and Yoga, and with David Fleming & Amanda Franklin of Radiant Star Yoga.

Yoga Journey to Bhutan October 2018

I was so very lucky to have been the Yoga Teacher on this trip of a life time to the Himalayan kingdom of Bhutan, surely one of the most beautiful and spiritual countries in the world. The trip helped to fund a wonderful charity, First Steps Himalaya, which rebuilds classrooms destroyed in the Nepal 2015 earthquake. I  travelled from the UK on 12th October with a small group of people. During the 3 week trip we also spent a week volunteering in Sangachok in Nepal for First Steps Himalaya. If you are interested in a trip like this , have a look at the Beyond the Clouds website below.
